Neutex Home Deco GmbH, Kulmbacher Str. 82, 95213 Münchberg, is committed to ensuring that its website neutex.com is accessible to all users. This accessibility statement applies to the website accessible at https://www.neutex.com/.

Scope & Target Standard

We adhere to the success criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Conformity Level AA, as well as the relevant requirements of the European standard EN 301 549 (where applicable). The aim is to ensure that the website is as accessible as possible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities.

Current Status of Compliance

The website is partially accessible. Not all requirements of the above-mentioned standards are currently fully met.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

  1. Alternative text: Some decorative or content-bearing images do not consistently have suitable alternative text. (WCAG 1.1.1)

  2. Keyboard accessibility: Some interactive components cannot be fully operated using a keyboard, or the focus is not always clearly visible. (WCAG 2.1.1 / 2.4.7)

  3. Structure & headings: Semantic markup (heading hierarchy, landmark roles) is not consistent across all pages. (WCAG 1.3.1 / 2.4.1)

  4. PDFs and downloadable documents: Some PDFs are not fully accessible (e.g. missing tags, reading order). (WCAG 1.3.1 / 1.1.1)

  5. Form guidance: Error messages and mandatory field indicators are not yet programme-recognisable everywhere and are not sufficiently explained. (WCAG 3.3.x)

Note: The list above is based on a randomised self-assessment. It is being continuously expanded and refined.

Planned measures & timetable

We are continuously working on improvements and plan to take the following steps, amongst others:

  • Systematic alt-text checking and updating of all relevant images.

  • Keyboard accessibility and focus order for all interactive components.

  • Ensuring a visible keyboard focus is implemented for all elements of the website.

  • Revision of semantics (heading structure, ARIA landmarks, lists, tables).

Development and testing procedures

  • Method: Self-assessment/expert review based on WCAG 2.1 AA.

  • Tools (excerpt): Browser developer tools, Lighthouse, screen reader checks (NVDA), keyboard navigation.

  • Date of last review: 11 November 2025.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technologies

The website is optimised for the latest versions of common browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). It is designed to be used with a keyboard, screen readers and the operating system’s magnification and contrast functions. Usability may be limited when using older browsers or if JavaScript is disabled.

Enforcement procedures (note)

In Germany, private companies are generally not legally obliged to publish an accessibility statement in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102. Regardless of this, Neutex voluntarily commits to the goals of digital accessibility and implements appropriate measures. Should specific legal obligations arise in future (e.g. under BFSG from 28 June 2025 for certain products/services), we will implement these in accordance with the applicable requirements.
